Privacy notice

Who we are

Cubit Health Ltd is the data controller for your information. We are a company registered in Northern Ireland (company number NI737054), with our registered office at Unit 1, 212–218 Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast BT4 3ET. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC087097.

What we collect

When you join the waiting list, we collect your name and email address, and a record that you gave consent.

Like most websites, our hosting provider also automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, any health information through the website.

How we use it, and why

We use your name and email to tell you when bookings open and to send you occasional updates and emails from Cubit Health, which may include general information about men's health. We do this on the basis of your consent, which you give by joining the waiting list and confirming your email address.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the website and waiting list, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• Netlify, which hosts our website and, if MailerLite can't be reached, receives the sign-up form as a backup.
• MailerLite, which receives the sign-up form and sends our emails. MailerLite is based in the European Union.
• Microsoft 365, which we use for our business email.

Netlify and Microsoft are based in the United States, and MailerLite in the European Union. Where your information is transferred outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK–US data bridge or the UK's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we delete them, apart from a minimal record that you unsubscribed so we don't email you again. If you become a patient, your information is then covered by our patient privacy notice.

Cookies

Our website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. The sign-up form uses a script from MailerLite to send your details to them securely. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• ask us to delete your information
• ask us to restrict or stop using it
• withdraw your consent at any time
• receive your information in a format you can take elsewhere

To use any of these rights, email cormac@cubithealth.com. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
